Justice Monica Dongban-Mensem has been confirmed as President of the Court of Appeal by the Senate, after a successful screening report by the Senate Committee on Judiciary and Legal Matters.
Senator Bamidele Opeyemi, Chairman of the Committee said that Justice Monica was screened in line with the mandates put in place, in overseeing the Court of Appeal.
According to Opeyemi, Justice Dongban-Mensem was the most senior judge in the hierarchy of justices as at the time of her nomination by President Muhammadu Bulgari.
